Zion’s Staff

Taven Lombard, Bell & Choir Director & Accompanist.

My name is Taven Lombard (Tay-ven) I am a Vocal and Instrumental Education major at Minnesota State University Mankato. I have experience leading some high school choirs and accompanying many different groups. I am so excited to share my passion of making beautiful music with the people at Zion while also bringing praise. I was hired as the choral accompanist in 2025 and I’m excited to be expanding my role here at Zion.

Jenny Trimbo, Administrative Assistant

Everything Happens for a Reason – one door opens and another one closes is what led me to this position. I had to put the trust in God’s Hands when a door closed for me earlier this summer and trust everything will work out.  I know I have big shoes to fill here but I am ready and hoping to make it the easiest transition as we can. My official start date was August 10, 2026.

I have been active in our community throughout my life. I worked for the City of Le Sueur for 10 years and have been active here at church for the last 15 years. My husband, Zach and I have three kids, Tucker, McKenzee and Pieper and live on a hobby farm right outside of town. We love going racing and just hanging out with family and friends. I am a person that loves to help anyone and everyone! I am also taking over the Zion website and Facebook Page, so feel free to share any information or pictures to be posted to zion@zionlesueur.com or zioninfo@zionlesueur.com. I am available Mondays – Thursdays 8:00am to 12:00pm/1:00pm to 3:30pm and Fridays By appointment.

Jackie Braun, Christian Education Director

My name is Jackie Braun and I am the new Director of Christian Education Program at Zion!  I am married to my husband Nate and have two daughters, Harper and Dawson. I am passionate about creating a Christ-centered, inclusive learning environment for all ages.  As I step into this new role, my vision for the Christian Education program is to help individuals grow in their relationship with Christ and experience the transformative power of God’s Word. My goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone can learn, serve, and deepen their faith together, while also building strong connections.
